Yesterday I spent the day at Centennial Woman's Hospital with Carey and many others from church as we rallied around Robyn as she underwent surgery.. Her surgery went super well and her sentinel node biopsy came back negative and they found that there was absolutely no cancer in her lymph nodes!!! That is such an answer to prayer! She is scheduled to go home today and start the recovery process. As I was reading my daily reading this morning, the Lord highlighted a verse for me and that verse is
Psalm 92:4
"For you, O Lord have made me glad through your work; I will triumph in the works of your hands."
The Lord has done an amazing work in Robyn's body and spirit. I keep praying for her recovery and together we are trusting in the Lord and believing that this cancer has no place in her body!
This who process and season has been hard for me to walk through, but the Lord has been so faithful to me and meeting me where I am. Yesterday, the Lord reminded me many times that He is in control.
